Do you know the meaning of peperonchino?
Hello!
It's late, but a Happy New Year.
Thank you for always using the Kamakura Pasta Sendai Parco store!
I look forward to seeing you again this year.
The first blog of the New Year is a trivia about peperonchino that you would have eaten once.
In Japan, peperoncino exists as the name of pasta, but did you know that it is not possible in Italy? ?
In fact, peperonchino means "chili pepper" in Italian.
Peperoncino is actually the name "Ario Orio Peperoncino" (a pasta of garlic and oil and pepper)!
A Rio refers to garlic in Italian, and Arioo refers to oil in Italian.
It is said that it began to be made using red peppers that were introduced from Latin America to Italy in the 15th century.
Our peperoncino is finished simply with garlic oil and red pepper (cayen).
The price is also reasonable at 790 yen (+ tax), so please try it!
