Exhibition and sales event "Tohoku de, Vol.3-Fukushima Hen-" will be held by designers from all over the Tohoku region! !

This is the first event in two years to introduce and sell products and projects designed by designers from all over the Tohoku region in the form of a relay, "Tohoku de ~ Design in Tohoku ~ Fukushima Hen".



A talk show will be held during the exhibition.

The following is the event details.

　Suddenly, this project "Tohoku de, ~ Design in Tohoku" was born in 2019.



　This design exhibition has begun to move in search of encounters with designs deeply rooted in Tohoku, which are strong like humans, like the smell of soil. This "Tohoku de," is a project that travels through Tohoku design by introducing and selling products and projects designed by each designer in the Tohoku region in the form of a relay every year.



　This year, the third year, despite being rubbed by the stormy waves of corona, this year, will be the third time, including Nosuke Takagi, who is based in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, and Rika Nishiyama, who is based in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture.



　"The design of Fukushima is a 'bright rebellion' design with a 'rebellious spirit' rooted in the 'rebellious spirit'," I would like you to feel the "designing in Tohoku" again this year.



　It's dull, but it's warm. A trip to meet such a Tohoku smell design that is moderately aho and moderately magical.

Ichinosuke Takagi | Fukushima Iwaki-shi



Born in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. After graduating from Sendai Design College, he crossed work that is not related to design. I returned home from Tokyo, where I spent about seven years in 2010. Worked as a craftsman and director of Kaihatsu at Kamaboko Manufacturing Company. He is involved in the design of internal packages, websites, etc. He became independent as a designer in 2016. The motto is "Design that leads to a happy future." "Iwaki's Regional Comprehensive Care igoku", who designed the design, is the 2019 Good Design Prize Award.



Rika Nishiyama (marutt.inc) | Fukushima Minamisoma-shi



Born in 1985. Born in Tomioka-cho, Futaba-gun, Fukushima Prefecture. He is engaged in music and apparel-related design and publishing and advertising design work in Tokyo. We started "marutt" as a freelancer in 2017 and incorporated it in February 2020. In 2018, he moved to Minamisoma City as a coordinator of the entrepreneurship-type community revitalization cooperation corps, and in May 2021, opened a design office and creative space "House Connected from Expression" in Odaka-ku, Minamisoma City. As a design office open to the community, we hold events where you can meet your own expressions and other people's expressions.
