Togashi, who was born fast and got both "friends" and "places", and Komiya, a transfer student who was just running in a hurry to forget the painful reality.
Togashi teaches Komiya how to run fast, and after school, two people practice repeatedly.
Komiya finds what he drives and greedfully pursues records.
Gradually, the two became a rival and best friend through the 100m run.
A few years later, Komiya, who became one of the top runners, appears in front of Togashi, who is renowned as a genius runner, but is frightened by the fear that he must continue to win.
