A base that brings smiles to children throughout Tohoku
"Pokemon Center Tohok"

In December 2011, Pokémon Center Tohoku opened in Sendai as the first official shop in Tohoku with the name of "Tohoku" to serve as a base for bringing smiles to children throughout Tohoku. It was reopened at Sendai PARCO in June 2017 and continues to this day. At the entrance of the shop, Pikachu, the phantom Pokemon Victorini, and Nyaoha will be greeted. The store is characterized by the interior decoration that resembles a train, such as lighting with a terminal information board motif.
Aya Date fascinated me during the shop cruise was a stuffed animal with mold Gon & Pikachu's sleeping face appearing in Pokémon Sleep. In addition to the tight feeling of touch, the large size over 50cm in height makes you want to sleep with a pillow together.
Ryuya Miyase, who loves Pokemon since childhood, fell in love with the LED lights of Nemash with a human sensor. "I've always been looking for lighting to compose. I think it looks good on the interior of my home!" says Miyase.

The capsule toy toy lined up in front of the shop is irresistible for Pokemon fans! While turning the capsule toy, Max was excited, saying, "I wonder if Pokemon will come out." Miyase and Date get Heracross, Yanyanma, Kirria, and Urgamos.
"Pokemon has been playing anime since I was in kindergarten. It was routine to watch Pokemon and then go to school. And they also buy a game. Since Pokemon was close to me from an early age, I naturally liked it. It's a feeling that Pokemon has always been around. I'm calling friends and playing Pokemon cards.

My favorite Pokemon are Luke Rio and Kaiden. It's a bit deep, but Luca Rio needs to be good not only at the level but also to evolve. In order to evolve from Ri Orr to Luke Rio, you can't evolve into Luke Rio unless you keep walking around and fight or stroke against Pokemon. That's why I have a lot of thoughts (laughs). Pokemon has been around me for a long time, and it has a deep history and a deep swamp." (Mr. Miyase)

"It's nice that the Pokemon Center has a lot of goods that you can wear and feel your favorite Pokemon close to you! When I went to the shop, there were many small children. There were stationery, so there were also goods that could be taken to school and boasted with friends. After all, Pokemon has a lot of items that can be placed close to you like a partner, so I thought it was amazing. Every time I go, I feel happy!" (Date)

"I learned a lot from my family,
I've been saved."

"When I heard that a Pokemon Center was established in Sendai, I heard," What is there? " That's right. In the game, "Pokemon Center" is a place to recover Pokemon. When I went to enjoy it, there were a lot of Pokemon goods! "What is this place, it's really fun!!︎" (laughs)," says Mr. Miyayo, who told me his memories of visiting Pokemon Center Tohok for the first time when he was seven years old. Pokémon fit, a palm-sized stuffed animal full of the store, as well as a variety of stationery, toys, game software and card games, and he likes Pokeka (Pokemon card game) looked at the card with a serious expression.

What I like from an early age-It is undoubtedly an important essence that forms part of Ryuya Miyase, who turned 20 years old. I asked Mr. Miyase and Mr. Date what had the most influence in forming themselves from childhood.

Mr. Date: But after all, it's the surrounding environment. The existence of mother, father and brother and sister is really big. Compared to a few years ago, there were a lot of things I thought, "I'm an adult." I think it's very important to think about things or not to hold them alone. My family was a lot of people talking, so I've been supported a lot. "I have such an idea as well as this idea" means that it is very useful every day, whether at work or in a private place. I have learned a lot from my family and have been saved.

Mr. Miyase: I think it's an environment with my family. After all, there are a lot of things that have been sacrificed. I can't go out often at school events or play with my friends. But I think that all of that environment had a proper influence on me now. I always wanted to do something straight.

Finally, I asked you why you chose the current path, even at the expense of various things, and the driving force you to continue working as an expressionist.

Mr. Date: I'm sure the fans who support me really help me. Now I receive a support message directly on SNS, or when I stand on the stage, customers who send red penlights are looking at me with a smile. That's why I might have sacrificed until I came here, but I think there are many things that can only be obtained by myself now. I'm very happy to receive such words from fans who support me, saying, "I have a mom, so I have myself now." That's my driving force.

Mr. Miyase: The reason I started this job was the desire to "impress various people." That's a big thing for me to do this job with that feeling. I think, "I have to work harder."
